About Us

Hello, and welcome! We’re Deb and Ed, the husband-and-wife team behind Bakery on Bible Hill.

What started as an excitement and passion for sharing our discovery of fresh-milled grains with friends and family quickly grew into a licensed in-home bakery. And now, just a year and a half later, we’ve transformed our former garage into a full commercial bakery! (We’ll share more about that journey later.)

During our first summer, we participated in a local farmers market and quickly discovered that so many people were looking for organic, simple, nutritious breads and baked goods. We met incredible people that summer and had the best time connecting with our community. It didn’t take long for us to decide to jump all in on this bakery adventure—and we haven’t looked back!

After the summer market ended, we opened weekly ordering for porch pickup, and things have continued to grow ever since. We’re constantly learning, creating, growing, and finding new ways to expand what we can offer.

We hope this website feels a little like a visit to our kitchen. A place where you can keep up with what’s happening at the bakery, learn about fresh-milled grains and why we love them, find recipes and inspiration for your own kitchen, and of course, order something for your table.

We believe bread has a way of bringing people together. It connects us around the table, in our kitchens, and within our communities. We hope you’ll come along with us on this journey as we continue to learn, grow, bake, and connect with the people around us. We’re so glad you’re here!
